Pros

- great tech that gets a "wow" in many first meetings - platform is evolving and reacting to market needs very quickly. - unique differentiators within the product can be difference makers on deals - Founder/CEO has great vision and has been through large exit before (AppD) -great emphasis on culture through transparency - tech works and clients can become successful relatively quickly -proven and simple land + expand model works today and continues to get better -Sales Ops, legal, Customer Success, and info sec team is fantastic

Cons

- it's still a startup so lots of pressure to get deals closed within the qtr, not many opportunities to make up a late loss. - not great brand recognition in the market just yet, still struggling to get that name brand status with Devs/Engineering orgs. -still in hyper growth "land new logos" mode you're going to need to do InfoSec review, MSA, pricing, etc for just about every deal.

Pros

Great product vision and market

Cons

There are way to many to list. You will be worked to the bone, you will work weekends, you will work 12 hour days. The politics are non stop. Upper leadership does not listen.

Pros

Harness was built on the hard work, blood sweat and tears of a lot of very good hard working engineers, CS folks and sales. The product has staying power and is well placed in terms of market share and capabilities. Far superior to any of the competition.

Cons

About a year and half ago, the company decided to start it's first round of major tech industry layoffs. I believe in the process the current middle management figured out how they can survive and succeed in this environment. Part of that success is to make the numbers look a lot better then they are in terms of product quality, and feature capabilities. This has ended up hurting customer opinion on the product, and no amount of numbers and CFD polishing will cover up overall product issues. Current management team now has to find another scapegoat. A lot of politicking happening in the middle and upper middle management.
