Good benefits, free schooling but with the economy there going to change that. There is many different jobs at Harper College

Cons

Do not try and work here, they do not treat this like the public sector, there is favoritism here and if they don't like you they can will get rid of you no matter how good of a job your doing.

Pros

Instructional colleagues are solid for the most part, and put so much time and care into the work. Students are varied and I like that.

Cons

Lots of extraneous busy work created by administrators who make a lot of money but do very little to enhance the college. Diversity is very basic here, black and white thinking, literally. Feels very midwestern and provincial in nature.
