Things change, but then they don't.

Pros

Great people, flexibility, options for full and part time, good collaboration among departments, location/easy to get to, able to work independently on a daily basis

Cons

Plans are always in motion for change, but never seem to go anywhere. Projects get started and never leave the ground or take forever because of the need for approval in input from too many administrators. Benefits for part-time workers are pretty much not available.

Some are paid well. You get free continuing education courses.

Cons

HR is very nice but nothing is written down unless you are in a union. So, everything is up to the subjective nature of your supervisor. No lunchbreaks. Everyone is scared and overworked which means that they try to push their work on to you or blame you for delays.
