Great industry, interesting work but an invisible CEO and HR calls all the shots
Pros
The work is exciting and there's a lot of ownership of projects. For the most part, one has an opportunity to do their best on a project. Most teams are full of hard-working, smart, and fun people. Fully remote, so there's the flexibility to work from home. Disagree with previous reviewers who critiqued the work-life balance, compared to many other companies, the workload is high but reasonable.
Cons
Every move by every level of employee, from an SVP to an associate, is controlled by HR. HR decides who gets invited to meetings, and how to staff each team (without actually understanding the functional needs of the group), they monitor Teams (chat messaging) conversations, etc. As others pointed out, the culture surveys and other morale metrics are heavily skewed.
