Pros

Great location near the airport, restaurants and services. Recently remodeled office with up to date furniture and bright colors. Decent holidays and benefits.

Cons

For every negative review, someone in Executive management creates an account and posts some insipid glowing review. That sort of cover-up is a prime example of what happens in the office. There are good and bad things to every company and every job but unless the negative can be freely expressed and fixed nothing will ever change. Staff with many years of experience in the business are leaving and not being back filled. IT management believes that casino nights and bagels will make it all okay. The environment is currently one of fear and suspicion.

Marketing...stop writing fake positive reviews.

Pros

Great marketing department. I'm sure they are only doing what they've been told to do by posting positive reviews here in a lame attempt to offset the ever-increasing negative feedback.

Cons

Marketing writing positive reviews here to try to offset negative feedback. Seriously? Stop it. It's a poor attempt to hide negative feedback.

Pros

The best reasons at the time to work there really were the people. I met some of the most helpful coworkers I have ever met. QA was very easy to work with as well as my fellow coworker programmers. They also were pretty flexible in hours in that you could leave early and come in early (to beat the horrible rush hour). It usually was a 40 hour week.

Cons

Constant micromanagement and company politics. If someone didn't like you in the business or those in management they would try to make your life there painful. I worked on a disaster system that was always breaking. Every 6 months they would come up some critical issue like it was something new. 3 years of a every 6 month became a critical problem. The system was poorly designed and they never bothered to redesign it (which would have fixed the design flaws). The technologies used are legacy and the lagged behind several years at any other company. There was lack of room for growth and learning about other areas of there business. Most of all before I left they reorganized and got rid of some of the best middle management I have met who cared about the company and did good things for it.
