Pay and work life balance are fair.

Cons

The business is privately run and there is constant layoffs to save money. If you are in middle management you are a target. At least 40 people were let go with in the time I was there. If you are not part of the top team you will be a scapegoat as no one in senior management will take responsibility for their short sightedness and poor planning. Lower level day to day people are usually safe. I would fully expect to see the company be sold in the next 5 years or loose more money due to enforced opiod regulation. Not a good move if you have a family to support. If you don't believe me, ask how many people they have laid off in the last year at your interview.

Management doesn't really care at all about the employees and they would rather have the employees please them than do what helps the company or makes any logical sense. If you have talent and drive, rather than reinforce that behavior, they instead micromanage you and try to put you down. The thing is that while doing this, they also expect innovation and enthusiasm, but showing those two things brings the bad attention from management. So really, what do they want? Don't expect any raises due to the constant management nightmares going on in the company. Avoid any IT position here, and beware of HR

While we continually strive for improvement as we mature, there are couple of your concerns we’d like to address specifically. This year we have rolled out new programs centered around employee and manager development to further engage employees in their role, facilitate their professional goals, and strengthen team dynamics. Regarding compensation, Healthesystems offers a competitive salary and benefits package that includes Medical, Life, Vision & Dental insurance with HSA and FSA options, 401K with company match, and paid. Retaining talent is a top priority, with merit increases budgeted and allocated annually.

Friendly work environment. Flexible. Work life balance is incredible. Decent Pay

Cons

Management is a hard-nut to crack as there is a lot of favoritism. People who are there for a long-time, even with all their flaws and lack of experience in new areas are being treated like kings while people with real experience and who are sincerely contributing in all areas are being treated poorly. Lack of transparency for even senior people who are new joiners while everything is being handed in a plate for old-timers. Again, not all old timers are treated this way. You have to be manager's favorite.
