Pros

Potenital to earn good money, but it's rarely consistent. Most likely will earn 30-40k unless there for over a year. Constant training Friendly co-workers

Cons

I give this 2 stars mostly due to the high stress and controlling type of environment. The place has changed a lot over the year. - It feels like working at a farm at times, and the agents are the animals. -Very high stress -Controlled environment, they want to keep everyone on the phones. -Management will mislead sometimes, say things they don't mean, nature of the business. That being said, management does offer good insights into sales. Sales are highly inconsistent. One week you might earn 20 sales, the next only 3, doing the exact same thing.

Pros

Great Pay Great Rewards They attempt to maintain positive environments Amazing hours You truly can enrich the lives of those you meet if you have the emotional stamina and perseverance to fight past the initial issues of the guest.

Cons

Strict / Necessary Oversight. Employer required to heir on the side of supreme caution Because of growth there are vast disparities between locations and how many sales opportunities that the reps get. Some of these things arent considered when the representatives numbers are compared to the goals of the company This Job is VERY mentally and emotionally taxing due to the amount of incoming upset customers. (Not the fault of HICV but instead of the issues with previous management at the locations they are purchasing)

Pros

Potential for a great income. Get to dress nice everyday and talk about vacations. Without a doubt some of the best co-workers that you could ever hope for.

Cons

One of the worst places I've ever worked for! The only reason I stayed was because my coworkers became like a second family. But make no mistake this company lies to their employees on a daily basis. Remember on the sales side it is a 100% commission job. The benefits are some of the worst in the industry, and that came directly from the benefits coordinator I met with. I have never seen such a high turnover and the first year I worked for them 80% of the sales team that was there when I started had been fired or quit 12 months later. They are very diligent about pushing the image of this being a family company and the product being all about bringing families together. The truth of the matter is that they only care about the sales numbers. You can lie and cheat and as long as you have great numbers it is mostly overlooked. If you are hard-working and loved by customers and coworkers a like they will fire you in an instant if your numbers go down. I could go on and on about the broken promises made to employees and customers alike. All in all it comes down to this. They keep you going with the promise of high pay and benefits. Unfortunately, almost no one ever gets to enjoy that promise. If you are ever considering this company the best advice I have for you is to talk privately with a few employees in the same position you're considering. I promise you it will be very eye-opening.
