Pros

I like working at Homeserve because we now have a very strong senior management/director vision and Charter. Everyone is key to making the business a success and the majority of us really care and are proud of what we do at work. We have lots of opportunities to seek advice and support via a mentor or 121 meetings with senior managers and director's, how many employees can say that and mean it about their employers? :)

Cons

We have had some issues in the past about how we have sold in the past and I have been through this challenging transitional time and experienced it.We are now such a completely different business for the better and our customer service for our people at work and our external customers is something I'm really proud of.We still can improve lots of things and it is a little time consuming but I really belive we will get there.

Pros

I've been working at Homeserve for almost three years now and in that relatively short space of time I have seen some truly amazing things happen to this business. There is a genuine emphasis on doing the right thing, whether that is for our customers or our people. There is a great deal of trust given to you from the senior Management team to be able to make decisions based on the "right thing to do" The most important people in the business are our front line colleagues and I am proud to be one of them. We are all on a journey together to ensure that we help our customer's by offering them effortless service and taking the worry out of Home Assistance. Homeserve is very good at promoting it's people into key roles. I have been promoted twice in the 3 years I have worked here and I know lots of people throughout the business in the same boat as me. This is a very friendly and open place to work where you have access to an internal social media platform enabling you to get advice from your peers and colleagues or share some great successes with the rest of the business. you often even find yourself having your lunch on the same table as an exec or two in the staff canteen.

Cons

Not necessarily a criticism of the company but maybe an opportunity for development.- we don't always make the best opportunity of working closer within the different departments of the business.

Cons

Homeseve is a completely a different business from when i started for the better and companies could learn from the changes we have made and by 20/20 we will again be positively unrecognizable company
