Pros

- There is a great customer centric culture in the team. - No real hierarchy - the Chief Marketing Officer is very approachable and floor walks to speak to everyone in the team, regardless of your level in the business - Speaking of the Chief Marketing Officer, he is one of the best I have had the pleasure of working for! He empowers and engages his teams constantly and has introduced many great initiatives to keep his teams happy! - Promotions happen! Since working here I have seen many people (rightly so!) get promoted. This is something larger organisations struggle to do well. - There is a real sense of community in this organisation. - Great employee benefits eg cover policy for free for all employees, rewards systems which allows you get get great discounts at most high street retailers

Cons

- Some of processes are a little pre-dated and lengthy eg holiday forms, ink signatures - It's a great idea that the call centre and marketing sitting together but with the increased noise levels it can be difficult to concentrate at times.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I would like to say however that I'm able to be the best version of myself because the CEO and board encourage us all to be the best we can be. That might sound normal but it isn't. It is rare and I'm glad to be a part of it myself. I hear your pain on the noise level at times with us all being on the floor together. We are investing in 5 new meeting rooms for the ground floor of the Ryder Building which may provide you with a place for extra concentration when you need it. Greg

Pros

I starterd working at Homeserve last year in Outbound sales on the phones. I came with the intention of moving up through the company and less than 12 months later I have. If you put yourself out there and do the extra mile in your role other opportuities at Homeserve will soon pop up. I am currently on a learning programme - Marketing Excellence Programme, when finishing my year on this programme I will land a role as a marketing manager! Theres always lots of fun happening at HomeServe too, From on site Fun days, Fairground rides, bake sales, to human table football!

Cons

Being on the phones didn't suit me, I got easily bored and shift patterns on the phones aren't always good.

Pros

Inspiring, approachable Leadership Team who listen to their People; clear vision and objectives that you can honestly measure yourself against; real focus and genuine concern for the Customer and People; great added value initiatives - benefits package, Book Clubs, family days etc. We work hard but we know how to have fun.

Cons

6 months ago I'd have said a lack of focus on developing People at grass-roots level, but this is now changing. It's a great place to work if you like a busy, varied environment and the opportunity to grow and challenge yourself.
