Pros

Ive worked for HomeServe for 9 years and have seen major changes in the ethos of HomeServe, HomeServe really look after their staff and even more importatntly they look after their customers, HomeServe are not just an insurance company after money but really assess the needs of the customers by empowering their staff to do the right thing. The senior mangement team are absolutly fantastic and by having such a strong structire allows the staff to do the right thing. The benefits that they provide to the staff are outstanding and you really do feel part of the company and not just a number as i said they really do look after their staff which means their staff are happy and are more than willing to go above and beyond for their customers. I would recommend Home-serve as place to work and as an insurance company Im looking forward to many many more years with the company and i am excited about our future.

Cons

After 9 years in the company and the changes ive seen that have been implemented , i can honestly say that i have no cons of working for HomeServe.

Pros

HomeServe has gone through a sea change over the past couple of years or so, from a place where I felt that company didn't really care about it's customers, to a company where doing the right thing for customers is at the forefront of everything we do, and is embedded throughout every department. The management team live and breathe this culture, setting a great example for everyone who works here.

Cons

As it is such a big company, it can be slow to react to new technologies that can help you with your job.

Pros

We have the right management team in place who understand, listen, act and 'do the right thing', not just because it looks good but because they truly believe in what we do and encourage everyone else to behave the same way. We are empowered to do the right thing which makes everyone feel proud when talking to customers - you can hear the pride in peoples voices! The work life balance is amazing, a very fair company to work for! I love working for HomeServe and am very proud of what we have achieved together! I'm excited about the future!
