Pros

Free on-site parking, canteen and good work life balance

Cons

There is a lack of learning and development even when requests have been discussed and submitted with line manager. You don't hear anything back despite chasing up multiple times. After a few years of chasing you give up. Saw the lack of BAME faces from senior management level and above to a good indicator of the lack of diversity. It's always the ones that shout the loudest and often in cliquey circles that brags about how great it a workplace Homeserve is. It was ok. Room for improvement in areas of delivery, process improvement and prioritisation

Pros

Competitive salary and just the usual stuff a big company would give.

Cons

Way too many weekends , if you don't like seeing your family on a weekend or playing a sport or activity then this is the job for you, plus for the increase in weekend work there is no extra pay.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Weekend working is a major challenge for us. We try to do as much as we can to make the weekend rota as fair as possible, as we still need to maintain great levels of service for our Customers. We’ve tweaked rotas to remove some aspects that were particularly problematic and we’ll keep listening to your views. I’m glad you recognise the salary and big company benefits. I’d also add that the engagement scores for our field teams are much higher than any other big company with a field workforce. I'm always happy to discuss things further if you would like to give me a call. Martin Holloway Director of Field Operations
