Pros

the people that work here are amazing, always willing to help and build friendships out of work too and all the great charity work that goes on behind the scenes. from senior management right down to csr/engineer level everyone wants to same thing and that is to build the brand and make our customers happy by being the best we can be. I feel as I have a voice that is listened to and people will take notice of things that are said. I have worked here for over 5 years now and have been through the "rough" times, and can honestly say this is a far cry from where we were and can never see us going back that way..... i can see the business continuously growing in each company and us always improving our service.

Cons

the pay isn't as great as other company's for the same roles, but the environment makes up for that (kind of, everyone could always do with more money) i get the feeling in certain positions/departments its a very much "face fits"

Pros

* The People at HomeServe are great and are one of the main reasons people stay. * If you've got the right attitude there are always progression opportunities. * Salaries and benefits are reasonable compared to others businesses in the area. * Senior management team do really care out their staff and Customers, this makes it easier to do a go job and raise issues where something is not right.

Cons

*I've found that annual changes in back office middle/higher management have a negative impact. *Although pay and progression is reasonable, one of the gripes many people have is that there isn't a clear and level playing field (i.e. there can be massive pay/benefit differences between people doing exactly the same roles)

Pros

I have worked here for over 8 years and over that time have seen a number of changes through management and director level. The current management and director people things are honestly the best I have worked for and whilst working towards commercial targets they still have time for the people on the ground. This is evident in the fact that they are visible on the floor and so approachable.

Cons

There are always people who feel hey are being hard done by and can't see the changes being made are for the good of the population and necessary most of the time to safeguard their roles. Think before you moan!
