Pros

I truly believe in the mission of the organization. Few other organizations can match the breadth and reach of HSUS. They've done a great job taking a stand on each and every animal welfare problem out there.

Cons

Low salaries. Many people are unhappy with their managers, and feel under valued overall. Few opportunities for career development. There is a lot of unnecessary bureaucracy and high employee turnover.
