Pros

The in depth hiring process leads to quality people that are both enjoyable to work with and produce innovative results. The health and retirement benefits are standard but the gym and profit sharing are well above average.

Cons

The biggest con is people enjoy working here so much the turnover rate is extremely low so upward mobility can be limited. The only other con is salaries are below average but the profit sharing usually balances this out in good economic years.

Pros

Facilities, employee benefits, atmosphere, and profit sharing are all highlights of the Hunter workplace. The company is open with it's performance and long term strategy.

Cons

As a result of having many long tenured employees, challenging the status quo and proposing innovation is often frowned upon. A parallel can be lightly drawn between Hunter and the state education system, since people who do not perform up to job requirements remain in positions (including management) solely due to their length of employment. There is also little incentive or drive to rise above "average" or "good enough".
