Pros

The only pro about this company is how easy it is to be hired as a full-time employee. Their policies, hours, and treatment of staff make it very difficult for corporate to keep their employees for more than 8 months. They are desperate for help because of this.

Cons

This company ceases its facade of caring about its students immediately after orientation. They pitch individualized programs and customer satisfaction, but the truth is that HLC is a corporate meat grinder. They consume families and their children through extortion and violent-analogy ridden sales pitches. They care more about having money in their pocket than making any difference whatsoever to the education system. The materials used are grossly outdated, and the academic evaluations used to create the individualized programs are grossly misinterpreted to further help their malevolent sales pitch drain the target family's entire savings account.

Pros

They pay. That is the only pro I experienced working there; they pay you for it, and there are bonuses associated with full time positions.

Cons

Long, incomprehensible hours, too many duties per position, no noticable appreciation for employees, no conflict resolution system between employees, complex and sometimes directly counterproductive paperwork and roundabout record-keeping with no central system and constant, disjointed updates and changes, no modernization or update of curriculum or internal documents, hostile supervisors, hostile coworkers, unreasonable standards for work, productivity, scheduling, budgeting, and advertising. Emotionally crippling.
