Company is growing and shows a lot of potential growth however, need to start focusing on the virtual world of associates. This changes communication, development, training and business processes. Company is behind the times here.
Better management and communication with experienced hires. These hires many times are grouped with analyst and associates rather than higher level roles.
High Turnover rate. Most stay about 1-2 years and leave.
Hiring too many "out of college" analyst, balance this with mid to more senior in Project Management and industry and consulting experience. Because those who have been in the field for very long time are doing analyst type work or being directed by analyst who is maybe 2-5 years in field with no management experience or large scale project experience. Very degrading. I am not doing what I thought I was hired for.
Absolutely no work/life balance. Historically (prior jobs) I have traveled when needed (project kick off, analysis phase, testing, go-live) and everything in between is virtual or as needed. However, it seems travel is every week Mon-Thur. Many times no client facing. Better use of time and money can be spent elsewhere.
