Pros

Work/life balance is decent for consulting (think, 10-12 hr workdays M-R, easy Fridays) Great people Youthful culture

Cons

Noncompetitive pay (mgmt insists it is not an issue, despite constant complaints and the fact that we are hemorrhaging analysts and associates) Highly political Understaffed (can't keep any good experienced hires for 6+ months)

Pros

-Opportunity to work on a variety of projects -Benefits package (not salary) -Ability to work remotely -Robust online learning modules and online training catalog -Brand recognition in certain industry verticals (Healthcare and Education)

Cons

-Gender ratio is very skewed; old, "Mad Men" type atmosphere. Women are treated differently and not advanced in leadership roles the same rate as men. If they are assertive , that is generally seen in a negative way. -Lack of diversity -Leadership does not know how to operationalize, grow, and scale -Pay is not competitive when compared to similar size consulting firms
