Pros
Decentralized management structure and not afraid of investing in resources to get the job done. Good healthcare package and return on stocks.
Cons
Constant restructuring so you never know from one day to the next if they're going to fire 10 people or so. It didn't seem to matter where in the organization you were they'd cut people loose. The company was restructured 2 or 3 times my last year there. Merit increases went anywhere from 1% to 3% depending on what mood they were in. There are almost no employees in the office with more than 10 years experience. Most fall into the 5-7 year window and then you have a few with 20+ years but nothing in between. The last 3 years we had stopped developing any new products. We were finishing up things that had started but nothing new was in the works. Everything engineering was doing feasibility studies on over the last 2 years was killed at the first management review. Doesn't seem to follow the IDEX motto of innovation.
