A Company Full of Decent People Who Have No Idea What to Do

Pros

- Benefits and pay were fairly generous - Not particularly demanding (if you like that sort of thing) - Free food and snacks - The office is relatively accessible off the highway

Cons

- Impotent, clueless management. The definition of insanity is enacted daily. - Co-workers with mediocre technical skills - Business growth is stagnant. Some key product investments are rapidly failing, but nobody wants to admit it. - Unstable job security due to poor financial decisions by management. - Next to no project oversight. Projects are a free for all of chaos and confusion.

Could have been a great place to work

Pros

Good location, nice office, mostly smart engineers

Cons

Archaic technologies - no one is using C# in the startup community. Very weak technology leaders, who are lacking any sort of vision. Smart and experienced people struggle to survive the short-sighted management. Many things and processes are in the same shape as they were in 2005. Management is in total denial of reality about the company prospects.

Pros

I loved working at INRIX more than any place I've ever been. Unfortunately, I had to move to be near family. There is no better place to learn and make an impact. The people at INRIX are top notch and I'm so glad to have known them.

Cons

I wish I could continue to work there forever.
