It was not a horrible experience but no amount of sugar I could throw in could convince me enough to stay. I don’t sugarcoat things and that is one of my biggest assets as having high integrity. As I tried to sugarcoat my own experiences here I realized I was loosing my integrity. I have lead my career path as a positive, motivational person awaiting to be inspired by the enthusiasm of teams. Looking for a culture of being around strong positive resources is not what I found here in the leadership. A culture of influencing teams by demands and feeling obligation to produce quantity over quality in a software industry is unfortunate and I feel the clients feel the pressure and lack of dedication coming from the product. This company can be a place to learn and grow but those suffocated by the demands, pressure and lack of positive leadership are telling in the product. Provide resources, procedures and have compassion to work towards changing the culture. Having yes men and people who don’t speak up, gives you no insight into what your clients truly need. Care about your employees as well as clients and they will want to stay instead of feeling like they have no choice. Ask them what they need and provide it. Something needs to change but it has to start from the top.

Like any company growing at this speed, change is constant. This change may not be well received by a few. It is important for people to be adaptable and agile.
