      Pros

      - InStride is mission oriented with clear objectives that is providing real value to people through life changing education opportunities - The people are great and the culture is the best I've experienced. I am friends with many coworkers outside of work. - The work is challenging and interesting. - Leadership is transparent about successes and failures and responds openly to feedback.

      Cons

      - It's a fast-paced environment and can be stressful at times. It's still very much a start-up environment, though, and it's evident that things are improving every day.

      Thank you for your review. We agree, InStriders are great! You are correct that InStride is a fast-paced environment. That’s one of the reasons why InStride encourages its employees to take advantage of their PTO. During the past year, we’ve also increased our company-wide holidays to ensure all InStriders have plenty of opportunities to relax and recharge. That balance between work and play is built into our culture, and we put a lot of thought and effort into creating a culture where people can thrive professionally and personally.

      Pros

      - InStride's Managers encourage and empower their direct reports to grow through continuous feedback and our "StepForward" Program which allows InStrider's to get a higher education FOR FREE. - Not only do they focus on your career path and professional growth, but they are also here to support you on a day-to-day basis no matter what the issue may be. I have never seen such managerial support like this. It is truly inspiring to know that they care. - Fantastic group of people. I constantly feel empowered around the people I work with every day.

      Cons

      - Meeting heavy but InStride is trying to improve (and definitely has within the past year)

      Thank you for your review. We agree that the people at InStride are fantastic and are thrilled that you feel supported by the people managers at InStride. We’re also glad you’ve seen improvement in the amount of time spent in meetings. InStride administers an employee survey twice each year, and the feedback from those surveys determines a lot of what we do. We have been told that some of our business units host too many meetings. Our leaders continuously review our meeting cadences and are dedicated to making strides to improve.

      Most hardworking, collaborative group I've ever worked with

      Pros

      InStride has some of the hardest working, most genuine, passionate and collaborative people I've ever worked with. I am consistently impressed by most of our team members. I really appreciate our culture of feedback and all of the ways management is listens to employees to add new benefits, perks, policies and even headcount. I feel challenged in all the right ways and am continually inspired by our mission and the learners we serve.

      Cons

      None from my perspective but for someone considering joining the team it's important to know that as a startup, we move very quickly and are often trying to get things out the door while sometimes still nailing down a proper process.
