      None. The culture is worse than BCBS

      Management cannot get out of its own way; company still believes it's old cultural myth about being the favored place to work; it lies to its employees and takes advantage of them.

      Pros

      IH boasted an upscale working environment with great health benefits and pleasant coworkers. The location was centrally located and easy to get to.

      Cons

      The company was in flux during my tenure which led to a lot of uncertainty for everyone new employees and veterans alike.

      Used to be excellent, not not so good

      Pros

      In the early years (CEO FC) you could count on company paid training in your field to keep you at the top of your game combined with top-tier benefits (med, dental, eyes, STD, LTD, LI, pension, generous vacation/personal/sick days) made it a pleasure to come into work and be part of a team. Hi morale. Management took care in cultivating employees. Felt valued and appreciated.

      Cons

      In the latter years (CEO MC) training was cut, benefits cut back, and pension was removed. Focus turned to "doing more with less". Old-tenure employees, now called associates were terminated without notice. Family culture dissolved. Sweatshop mentality. Current employees I remain in contact with state "nothing has changed."
