Pros

gas or company car and vacation time.

Cons

Management is appointed to the people that are good at reports and not at there daily task or they hang out in the office. Not the people that are most qualified. Management is only reactive to issues and never correct issues and become proactive.

Thank you for your comments. As we have continued to grow and develop as a company these past four years, we have added associates to our corporate team to better support our field operations which does feel like change. One aspect of that addition is an entire Training and Development team. We strive to ensure all associates treat one another with trust and respect and encourage any associates who feel that is not the case to speak with a member of our HR team so that your specific concerns can be looked into and addressed.

Leasing Agent

Pros

Plenty of work to do, listings issued without prospecting, good people that care about more than just the bottom line, good executive level that respects the opinions of agents.

Cons

Massive reduction in compensation from where the position started, to the point where the work done goes without appropriate compensation. Previously was an attitude of collaboration with cooperating brokers to get properties leased as quickly as possible with maximum effective rent, now an area where internal and cooperating brokers are in competition over a much smaller total compensation, with almost 90% of the compensation going to the broker that brings the tenant, leaving the internal agent with well below minimum wage for the amount of work going into getting that property leased.
