Thanks for your honest feedback. We're glad you found the call volume reasonable and the pay fair for the role. It’s also good to hear that you had positive experiences with some of your coworkers. We hear your concerns about the added responsibilities, difficult customer interactions, and noise level. Your note about the shift in management style is also appreciated. We appreciate your input and wish you all the best moving forward.

Beware of Glass Ceiling

Pros

Senior and Director-level product managers are highly engaged and supportive, serving as excellent role models and mentors. They foster a positive team environment and demonstrate strong leadership behaviors that benefit staff development.

Cons

The organization prioritizes operational efficiency over technological innovation, limiting true product-led growth. There’s a noticeable bias in hiring and promotions—favoring former Hilton employees—which creates a glass ceiling and stifles career advancement in product. Product management is often reduced to executing stakeholder directives aimed at short-term metric gains, rather than driving meaningful digital improvements for employees and customers.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that our senior and director-level product managers are making a positive impact through mentorship and leadership. Creating a supportive environment is something we deeply value, and it’s great to know that this is being felt. We also appreciate your candid observations about areas where we can improve specifically with finding the right balance between operational efficiency and innovation. Your insights highlight the importance of recalibrating that balance to better support long-term, product-led growth. Your concerns about hiring and promotion practices are taken seriously. We are continuously working to ensure that our processes are equitable, transparent, and based on merit, skill, and vision. Building clear, strategic career paths is a priority, Thank you again for your feedback—it’s voices like yours that help us grow stronger as an organization.
