Pros

They'll fly you down to Santa Barbara for company events and for onboarding. They'll let you expense all your meals while you're there as well.

Cons

Once training is over you're on your own. When you ask questions you're told to "figure it out" because they have "excellent documentation" which consists of private google drive folders. You couldn't find the answers even if you wanted to and the information is usually out of date or incorrect when you do find it. The product team just goes ahead with releases without telling the people who are supposed to support it. No training, no heads up, no roll-out plans. If you're in a remote office or a remote employee you are not setup up for success. You will have a feeling of dread when you go in to work in the morning.

Thank you for the feedback, we appreciate both positive and constructive criticism to help us make Invoca the best workplace possible. We are taking your suggestions about onboarding, training, and support for employees in satellite offices to heart. We just completed a project to centralize and update our technical documentation, and are building a more rigorous onboarding process. We are also helping managers in our Santa Barbara headquarters to understand the full extent of support they need to provide remote employees to help them be most productive and successful.
