Pros

Opportunities to travel, ownership of issues

Cons

Does your face fit? You'll soon know.... And that will decide your potential. Culture of 'work hard' but not smart. Knee jerk decision making from the top down. You are just a number. Serious blame culture. Lots of box ticking.

Awful, arrogant, outdated

Pros

- Opportunity to move roles within organisation - A lot of good people that are willing to help and go the extra mile

Cons

- Grossly outdated corporate culture - Complete arrogance to change, JCB way or no way - Senior leadership team thrives off obnoxious techniques and use fear to speed up/attempt to get things done - Completely rigid working (Fixed holidays, fixed hours, no flexi time). There is however an expectation for employees to be totally flexible and all travel is carried out at weekends with no compensation or time back - Projects are run on a fraction of the resource required but expected to be delivered in a fraction of the time - Climate and environment targets are laughable - private jets and helicopters are used daily there

Pros

Honestly, very few. Some colleagues look like friendly initially, but overall not much positive to highlight.

Cons

Very inexperienced and unprofessional team, with no real management skills. No clear direction or strategy due to lack of leadership knowledge. Inconsistent rules – different standards for different people. Extremely high turnover: people leave every month, and talent acquisition/retention is a serious issue. No flexibility to balance family and work life. No WFH policy, no flexible hours. Mandatory work on bank holidays and vacations are imposed when the company decides, not when employees choose.
