      Pros

      Working at January AI was an incredible opportunity for professional growth, surrounded by a talented and driven team. The fast-paced environment and innovative work in health tech made every day exciting, and I had the chance to take ownership of meaningful projects. The company fostered a culture of ambition, where learning was constant, and challenges pushed me to develop new skills. The product itself was inspiring, helping people manage their health in a smarter way, which added a sense of purpose to the work. My colleagues were supportive, collaborative, and truly made the experience rewarding.

      Cons

      However, the leadership style, particularly from the CEO, made the work environment unnecessarily stressful. While they were undeniably intelligent and visionary, their approach was often cold, unapproachable, and demanding, with little regard for work-life balance. The expectations were sky-high, but appreciation and recognition were scarce, making it feel like no amount of effort was ever enough. Priorities frequently shifted at the last minute, leading to a reactive culture that could be exhausting. Despite the many positives, the lack of empathy from leadership made it difficult to feel fully engaged and supported in the long run.

      Leadership/CEO fosters a toxic work culture where feedback and concerns are often ignored. Little to no opportunities for career growth or professional development. High turnover, lack of clear direction, and constant restructuring create a stressful environment.
