Cons
Joerns Healthcare was the worst company I have ever worked for. I was informed by dispatch and costumer service that they "owned" me 24/7 365 days a year. After the merger and other acquisitions, Joerns went through money and inventory issues. The company even struggled to pay their bills; so much so, that the gas for the warehouse had been shut off. When they did eventually give their employees a pay raise, it ranged from nine to forty-three cents an hour! They moved their manufacturing across the boarder, to a different country, but could not afford the tariffs to get the inventory back to the United States. They even resorted to telling their drivers to pick up sale items that had been used by facilities and hospice patients so they could be cleaned and sold again. Recently, the CEO resigned and was followed by the resignations of other management positions. Since then, their replacements have lasted (at most) a month; with some only lasting as little as two days in this poorly managed company.
