      Great co-workers. People are nice here

      Cons

      The culture has gone downhill If you are a diverse or LGBTQ person, you will either be tokenized or pushed out for political reasons. This company hires diverse people for show but have you wondered why they all leave in droves? They have poorly handled the layoffs and communication. It's pathetic how they even selected people to be laid off. Their HR team should be sued for discrimination. If you are buddies with the senior leaders, you are protected. There are so many shady things going on at the leadership level that they cover up. The layoffs were mainly orchestrated by the new chief people officer.

      Target salary has increased less than the rate of inflation each year for the past 8 years. Now there are layoffs and limited future career prospects.

      Benefits are good, company name is obviously well known.

      Cons

      Lack of flexibility, growth, or opportunities. Many people are sitting in their positions until retirement. Multiple departments have managers that don’t know how to actually manage. There’s no accountability, you can not do your job for months and still retain your position. Promotions are based on nepotism or favoritism, and interviews, not on actual skills. Work/life balance is a joke to management.
