Pros

The pay is generally excellent

Cons

The communications from leadership have always been universally terrible - vague and a lack of direction are usually the other of the day. This summer they told us there would be layoffs over the next two months, so we will all be spending the summer wondering if we will still have jobs at the end of it. John May has been a disaster for employee morale and productivity.

Pros

Good pay, good benefits across the board.

Cons

Leadership is extremely disconnected from the way the business runs. Don’t care about the employees, only the bottom line.

Pros

Pay is decent with a great 401k match. Good benefits overall.

Cons

John deere used to be the end all be all for your career. It used to be hard to get in but once you were it was like you were part of the family. That changed under John May. It is now no different than any other large corporation where you are treated like a number
