when you make it up to a co manager you work commission, $1.75 per hour and 4% of your sales. which at the end of the week IF you make your goal comes to the equivalent of federal minimum wage, 7.25 an hour which is not work the work and stress we put ourselves through to make our goals. The managers really can't seem to get it together and instead from promoting from within they bring people in from the outside who have NO experience managing a retail store. The turn over rate is incredible, but it's because the managers change the schedules constantly with zero communication from the managers about it. It's almost as if they do it to find a reason to fire people. In my experience I have seen people come and go. I have been passed up for promotions promised to me and have lost co- workers because of the lack of compassion in this company. I'm currently dealing with HR.

Like in every company, not everything is fair. More shifts go towards the people that management likes more. It's simple. Just do your job to the best of your abilities, hit and pass your goal, and don't cause any drama. I'm starting to get more shifts now. Again, not everyone will be fair and nice in the company. For awhile the manager's girlfriend (just another sales associate) thought I was going to flirt with him, so she pretty nasty. She's improving.. Slowly.
