Pros

Discount Live long friends with the people you work with Different experiences Having no set uniform other than wearing shoes journey sells.

Cons

Lots of favoritism in journeys. Very high expectations that are unrealistic. Very low pay, most managers get paid " make up to minimum wage ". Other managers wishing there colleagues to fail. Upper management talking behind other managers backs. When asked for help, you usually just get told you would have a visit soon, but when the visit rolls around, all you do is eat and watch you DM make schedule corrections. All part time associates make minimum wage and get 2 shifts tops a week and are still held to perform almost as good as management. You tend to work 45+ hours a week, maybe getting two days off. Not like other retail were they work about 40 and get 2 days off every week. Overall would not recommend it be a long term job, only as short as possible.

Pros

Developing future leaders of the company!

Cons

The job is the work and love that you put into it, if you don't love your work, your work will reflect that.

Pros

The discount. Other than that I would never recommend this job to anyone unless it's a second job. It is aweful

Cons

Everything. The pay. I worked 90 hrs a week until 3 a.m. I would have to work open to close if I didn't have a Co manager. 7.50 hourly if you do the math as a store manager. The district manager is a job along with the regional vp. Told me I was a waste of their time. And I literally never saw my kid. Worst experience of my life.
