Pros

I've heard there's better times of the year than others with pay, and I works with some pretty cool people. Associates are hourly

Cons

Everything else, mostly pay and hours. Minimum management has to work 45 hours. When I was there my store was understaffed only having me and one other co working there. This meant if we wanted to have our 1 day off a week the other manager would have to work an open to close. 9am-10pm no break. Not that you would want to break when your paycheck majority comes from selling and the 4% commission you make. Sell $100 pair of shoes= $4 in your paycheck. $50=$2 in your pocket. Don't even get me started on SOPs I work retail so I get adding on but some people get pissed when they ask for 1 shoe and you come out with 4 plus socks and accessories. There's a certain percentage all of these need to be at selling. No work/life balance because of hours, and high turnover rate. Needless to say I didn't last long at all and neither does a lot of other management

Pros

The job itself is fun, they are tattoo friendly, you can wear almost whatever you want and the discount is great. I started as part time, you can get promoted to co manager within 6 months easily if your good and get your own store in a little over a year. This is the perfect job to get if your looking for management experience to use on future applications or resumes.

Cons

Once you get that experience tho, move on and find your next job because they will drop you faster then you can blink. I was there 3 years and I had 6 different managers and about 10 different co managers bc the turnover rate is so high. They will use you till your fed up so go in with the plan to get the experience money and discount and get out within 2 years.
