NO time off. Couldn't hire my own assistant manager, which lead to working open to close, EVERYDAY, for months. You get burned out fast and have a hard time working at the level upper management expects. Terrible management and company leadership. I was basically, thrown into a store and abandoned by my district/regional manager(s), thus non-existent training. I trained myself 99% of everything, and had to call other local store managers for help in the beginning. The only time they ever came to check in was because all the stores in our area had sent a petition to headquarters about the working conditions and impossible hours. I fell from a ladder that was not properly maintained, and badly injured my legs. I ended up getting several UTI's because I was working my store for 5+ hours all alone and couldn't leave the front unattended due to shrink problems with that particular location. That lead to NO bathroom breaks and I had to stop drinking water for half the day, so potential dehydration. Got my hands slapped by my regional manager because I had been stolen from by a customer previously while in the back to quickly place product behind the wall for less than a minute. So, I wasn't recognized for all the long hours and hard work I was putting into a store that was failing when I took it over. But I was quickly scolded for honest mistakes.
