      Changed dramatically for the worst

      Pros

      Doing good for people is a huge Pro and the reason many work at JustGiving. The office space is also very cool and funky.

      Cons

      Certain members of the management team were so desperate to promote themselves and their self interests that the culture and original vision has fallen by the weigh side. There was a series of redundancies of very experienced people that challenged or would challenge the Management Team. You're now left with a core of less experienced 'yes' people. This has impacted the company significantly and you can see that culturally and financially. JustGiving is a shell of its former self.

      Pros

      Firstly, it is all about the values here which is why I came to JustGiving in the first place. The company really does practice what it preaches, there are always fundraising activities going on which helps to develop the general JustGiving culture. Also, the heart of the company really lies in the right place, with every company decision (small or large) taking into account what will best benefit charities and our fundraisers. Everyone that works here is so friendly and always happy to help. This is what makes the flat-structure work! In many hierarchical companies my role would be considered quite low down in the chain, but at JustGiving I feel just as valued as any other member of staff. This makes for a very exciting work environment. More practically, the benefits are fantastic and we have the best office I have ever seen! It feels the company has expanded in a big way, even in the year I have been here. This is no doubt a great time to work at JustGiving and be part of amazing changes to the company, and the third sector in general.

      Cons

      The flat-structure might be difficult for some. You really have to take things on for yourself, and take responsibility for your own development within the company.

      Nice culture Good causes to work for Good career progression

      Cons

      Sleazy recruiters and HR, full of themselves and dishonest. Dealing with their main recruiter felt like dealing with a sleazy scammer. Shame, as the people that actually do the work are really nice
