Pros
The pay isn’t bad and you get to work from home.
Cons
Not much schedule flexibility at all. Was told that if something came up and you needed to change your schedule, you’re basically SOL. Overtime is basically required during the busy enrollment season. Breaks and lunches are scheduled and if you need an additional minute or two break it eats into your 30 minutes for lunch. Ridiculous amount of steps that need to be completed on each call and you’re expected to basically pump as many kids into the schools as possible, regardless of how good a fit an online school may be. You have to wait 90 days for benefits which sucks when you’re a contractor whose contract conveniently ends 90 days after being hired. Sorry but if you’re working 40+ hours a week, you should be eligible for benefits on day one.
