Pros

Opportunity - The management I've experienced has been fantastic. I've had two managers who both have given me ample responsibility and freedom to run with my project how I see fit. People - I love the people I work with. On my (larger) team, no one takes themselves too seriously. It's quite a fun time. Culture - The casual, family culture still lives on. I can wear the clothes I work best in to work, I'm not micro-managed, I get free cereal and I work for a company that aims to continually embed strong values that honor integrity and character. Flexibility - The work flexibility is fantastic. I can work from home if I need to or head out of the office a few hours early if needed, and it's no big deal as long as I'm getting my work done, putting my hours in and showing good results.

Cons

Work / Life Balance can sometimes be tough depending on your position and workload, but the flexibility is nice.

Hello, We'd like to begin with thanking you for your continued service with Kellogg's! Opportunity, our people, culture and flexibility are some of the many contributions that creates the positive working-environment here within the company. It is exciting to know that our employees find so many added benefits during their time working with us. As stated, we do at times expect a lot from our teams, but this is due to our belief in cultivating a winning mentality across the board. It is our hope that flexibility helps minimize excessive work hours keeping long days to a minimum. We appreciate your feedback, and will ensure to maintain openness in our continued efforts to excel the field. Thanks,

Great Company in Sad Decline

Pros

Company is probably one of the best in the industry when it comes to recruiting top talent. Surrounded by very smart individuals. Terrific brands with superb consumer loyalty. Great summer hours. Great compensation and benefits -- probably tops in the industry. Mr. Kellogg's legacy a deep source of pride for all employees.

Cons

Leadership vacuum -- company has been lost for the past seven years and revenue in continuous decline. Leaderships lacks answers and vision and heavily relies on consultants for decision making. A follower, not a leader. Obsessive on cost savings and keep trying the same things over and over again expecting a different outcome. Culture promotes individualism and does not embrace outsiders. Lacks cross functional interaction and silos very evident. Resistance to change. Performance review system poorly managed and can be career damaging as a result. Management focused on "fixing you" rather than exploiting strengths. Sadly, the great recruiting experience comes crashing quickly.

Pros

The only thing that is good about Kellogg's is the pay, because they buy your life.

Cons

No work life balance. Cut throat company. It's not what you know, it's who you know if you want to move up in the company. The company will do anything to their employees to save a dollar.
