Pros

Many good co-workers, could work from home even before the pandemic.

Cons

Extremely expensive benefits, Management does not have a handle on the business, company is bleeding money, new direction is not solid, and literally they do not care about 90% of their employees and my manager at the time literally informed me that they do not care about us. Many upper level managers are heartless and hired to be so. This company cares about one thing: How much money did you make for them today? Yesterday's accomplishments, no matter how great, do not matter. There is absolutely NO room for advancement. They touted the new structure stating there would be more opportunities to grow and in fact, there were less. Do not let anyone lie to you and tell you there are ways to grow. There are not. Lowest salary ever. If you've been there a while-they will hire new people at a higher salary than you make. Then despite confronting them, they refuse to correct your salary. People are just keeping their heads down trying to keep their jobs. If you complain about anything then you are a target. This company refuses to invest in recruitment tools even when that is their bread and butter. They make it almost impossible for Recruiters to do their jobs effectively. They dropped our salary by 10% "due to Covid-19" and won't give a timeframe for when it might be given back. Instead, we were reminded that we are required to work more than 40 hours a week.

Pros

Not having to drive to work.

Cons

Customers are calling technical support site manager made it clear that we are not technical we are customer service advisors! This is how they do not pay your for technical resolution and technical troubleshooting steps that you will use. High pressure environment Calls coming in every 15 - 30 seconds 20 minutes of offline per day to be used for research, emailing, completing notes - that does not work! Crashing software that leaves you with unsaved notes No real time to investigate issues Pressure cooker until you start getting written up or laid off What you read in the other reviews are correct! Use this job as a stepping stone and save your money so that you can quit or be prepared for layoff or fired for an unexpected reason!

Pros

Not many. A grueling schedule and training, lots of promises and "cheery outlooks" with NOTHING AT THE END. No benefits. No insurance. Rotten 3-11pm schedule with scattered days off (no normal weekends like normal people), and higher ups who flat out LIE TO YOU to get more "production/make Apple happy. Read on...and if you're foolish enough to TAKE this position, realize they'll put you thru the wringer before it's over.

Cons

You can be FIRED without even knowing you're gone. They just let go (Thursday, 10/12) over half the level one & two people. Called everyone who was on shift into a meeting, read a script, then locked ppl out of their systems. THE PEOPLE ON EVENINGS DIDN'T EVEN GET THAT. They sat down at their workstations only to find out they no longer had a job. These people had told us for MONTHS "You can make a living doing this. You can be with Kelly for YEARS!" In plain language, the reason Apple's customer service skills have fallen so hard is because they contract out their workforce to companies like this! We deserved better. We deserved a notice and at least the dignity of a phone call beforehand. NOTHING. How would you like to go about your day and week thinking you had a future somewhere, only to either 1) Get fired in a one way lockout meeting situation (or) 2) Get NOTHING, NO NOTICE, NO CALLS, NO TEXT, NO WARNINGS--JUST KET GO??? They literally called day shift into a meeting, read from a script the locked people out of their systems. NO OPPORTUNITY FOR QUESTIONS/COMMENTS OR SAYING GOODBYE. They acted like they were getting rid of their trash. The evening shift folks had to call HR when they were locked out and couldn't call customers back or close their cases. How is a company the size of KConnect not even able to mass call people to let them prepare or handle cases?? They ran out of contract dollars. Plain and simple, you're worth NOTHING TO KELLY AND THATS HOW THEY TREAT YOU!
