Pros

Enjoyed working with the consumers.

Cons

If you value yourself you should stay clear of this awful company. Upper management do not listen and since they have no idea what they are doing things change daily. It’s obvious they don’t care about dsp’s or their middle management. Upper management are new and are quick to blame everyone under them. Training doesn’t exist and everyone is thrown into their jobs. During this pandemic it’s quite obvious it’s all trial and error and they don’t have a clue of what they are doing.

Pros

Not to many pros about the job. I met one person who I made a bond with and still am friendly with. Some people who have been with the company for many years are nice. But that's still a lot for me to say. I love love loved the residents themselves. The residents were the ones I would rather be around than the "normal" functioning people that work for the company. The residents loved me and I loved helping them, and seeing them smile when they would have good days. I started this job truly happy to be apart of it and loved being able to be myself, for the time I was able to.

Cons

Bad management, Lack of communication among supervisors and office managers. They blame employees for their lack of communication and make it seem like you are incapable. No work/home life balance. They do not care about your personal life, or your personal well being. They do not care if you have children of your own to be home with and take care of. Slave shifts, if you work as a DSP, you will have no life working there, they will burn you out and then call you to doubles. They hire ANY & EVERYBODY, they do not have a consistent quality of people that they hire. As if they have no real solid standard. Even though they portray that they do, they do not follow the standard across the board. They hire young and older people. Younger people just want a check and barely do their jobs. Employees, and supervisors, and managers are either loud and obnoxious, entire too much inter office gossip for the amount of "adults" that are employed, people cause too much drama, disclose information that is per company policy to not disclose about other employees, they do not care about the residents, except for some people that have been with the company 10+ years, employees are fake, lie too much to the supervisors and managers. A lot going on behind the scenes that they are not aware of. No raises, they do not care if you make enough money to live. They want you to show up and on time. But they will give extravagant event for residents or random office events for the people they favor. They will fire you regardless if you give them many years of your life working there. I have seen people get fired or demoted that did not deserve it all for the sake up the big bosses making money it seems. A LOT of people need or needed to be fired from there. Employees, Supervisors AND Managers! Met the CEO at an event and I was excited to meet them, but that person was not very friendly. They took a picture with some people from my department and then didn't care to get to know me or what it was I did within the company.
