Disloyal and in disarray

Pros

Most colleagues were dedicated to the company

Cons

Unfortunately, the company is not dedicated to their workforce. There was a core of competent management who started on the ground floor when there was only a single client. In a few short years they went from one client and four placement specialists to 100+ serving some 40 clients and 150+ degree programs. A couple months ago, most of that management who built the company from the ground up were generously rewarded by being sacked -- just months after the company assured everyone there would be no more layoffs in the foreseeable future. Since then it has been complete chaos at the company. Morale is through the floor. Nothing gets done because the remaining management don't even know what their job description is so they have no idea what to tell their charges. People are jumping ship at the first opportunity. Some are even jumping without a life jacket, hoping there will be one floating out at sea for them, that's how desperate they were to get out. Thankfully my life raft showed up and I'm out of here.

Pros

Some of the employees are fabulous people, helpful, kind, caring - just great people!

Cons

Senior leadership will say and act as though they care about you - they do not. Watch what they do not what they say. If you are considering a performance role - be aware!! very aware!! If you outperform, if you close large deals, your role will be eliminated. That is what happened to me - Brought in $24MM of new business (4x goal) and 2 weeks before Christmas, two weeks before my first (large) commission check, I was let go and offered 2 weeks severance. I was denied any opportunity to review this with leadership and was told by corporate to hire an attorney. My manager was not even present when this all went down - just an HR person on the phone and it was her 2nd day. You will hear mentions from your contacts about being cautious of the leadership here as I did - listen to them! I put my faith in and devoted my best efforts to this leadership and mission - sure enough after outperforming - I was let go. The impact on me and my family will never be forgotten.

Pros

There are still a lot of great employees who are doing there best for nearly no annual pay increase and continually shrinking benefits packages

Cons

Out-of-touch leadership, good old boys club mentality, executives who would rather yell and embarrass employees than develop them

I appreciate everyone’s views on the ever changing industry and all that comes with it and the challenges we face each day. Albeit, the leadership team works closely to ensure that the employees are engaged, empowered, and being treated with respect – this has been and always will be a top priority at Keypath. Any circumstances you experienced that lacked integrity should have been brought to the attention of our HR Department who would have addressed them. I have always encouraged open communication and one that lacks “yelling”, “embarrassing”, and defaming of any sort. I am sorry you have had that experience. Ultimately, we are a team and each of us has a responsibility to manage our day and the challenges that may come our way through the resources we have provided. Best of luck to you.
