Pros

Fairly good benefits, laid back work environment (if thats what you enjoy) and management seems to treat employees fairly.

Cons

Work environment is to casual/laidback at times. Management tends to let people underperform. Serious lack of recognition. Pay is below the average for similar positions.

Pros

Great work environment. Values of the company are great and everybody works there as a team. There is a good balance between work and personal life (however, it seems to be more true for Bath & Body than it is for Victoria's Secret). Individuals are always willing to help each other, advice and explain, and top management is always accessible.

Cons

Not sure about long term career opportunity. There are definitely possiblities to move horizontally amongst business units and function. It is also very possible to move from one brand to another (VS to Bath and Body....). The company is sometimes still run like a family business.

Pros

Great family of brands - though the sale of Express and Limited Stores shrunk the company significantly. Strong talent base and environment for learning. Generally proactive and competent management. Good employee training and development opportunites. A few years at Limited Brands makes you highly sought after from other companies.

Cons

Compensation and benefits seem below average. Factors resulting in promotions are inconsistent across departments and managers. Bonus structure is below industry averages and merit increase differences between poor and high performers is small - making it difficult to increase salary to any meaningful extent. Organziation makes decisions through consencous making it frustrating at times to implement change. Company faces big challenges having saturated the US market with existing brands. International expansion or acquisition of a small brand to build are likely next steps.
