Pizza Fridays and that's about it.

Cons

Antiquated systems, horrible management, cheap with benefits and salaries, scary neighborhood, crappy hours, uncomfortable physical environment, lots of screaming and yelling back and forth amongst employees, no public transportation around. Should I continue?

In 2015 L&R Distributors established uniform job titles, departments, and salary bands and issued a Cost of Living Increase to most employees. In the first quarter of 2016, L&R Distributors launched The L&R Way corporate re-branding initiative, performance appraisals with merit increases, and an Organizational Development program to help all employees develop professionally. Finally, within the next two years, L&R Distributors will be combining the Brooklyn and Long Island locations into one Corporate location. We are working to find a new location that is closer to public transportation.

L&R Distributors has grown through merger and acquisition and there was a pay freeze after a large acquisition in 2013. In late 2015 most employees were given a Cost of Living Increase followed by performance reviews and merit increases in early 2016.
