The company buys pizza every Friday. The director of operations should be running the business. He knows more than the VP's

Cons

Does not offer salary that are being offered in the market. Management is very disrespectful to there staff. When hired they state you will be reviewed in one year and that does not happen. Moral is terrible . A lot of the employees don't get along. People are always yelling at somebody

Pros

Pizza on Fridays , and occasional donuts.

Cons

Low, low pay. They overwork employees who make nothing. They don't even give performance reviews nor do they give raises. Mgmt is completely dysfunctional. Very very unprofessional environment. High turnover. Don't reward the employees who work hard and effectively. Everyone in mgmt is disrespectful to the employees.

L&R Distributors has grown through merger and acquisition and there was a pay freeze after a large acquisition in 2013. In late 2015 most employees were given a Cost of Living Increase followed by performance reviews and merit increases in early 2016. Other incentives and rewards have also been instituted, for instance, vending machines located at all Warehouses have been subsidized so the Company pays a portion of all purchases, we've launched a company-wide training initiative for professional development, and established 10 Leadership Principles as part of The L&R Way corporate branding initiative.
