Stop the bullying and the hate

Pros

This is a great company and it has great benefits.

Cons

There are certain managers and supervisors that are bullys, mean spirited and vindictive. They will hold someone back if they think that someone has wronged them. African Americans and Hispanics are treated like migrant workers and certain mangers/supervisors have been known to comment that they have no business working at a place like LSI. One manager/supervisor commented that the cleanroom should be staffed with educated people and the ignorant should be let go. Another con is that they tend to hire the children of employees in the company. These children often get better pay than those that have been there for years. Most of these employees children tend to be lazy and do as little work as possible or are creating problems in company because they are privy to information that there parents have.

Great Local Medical Device Company

Pros

LSI Solutions has improved the process of how some surgeries are performed and is poised to make a significant impact on other surgeries with the devices in their pipeline. This is a private company owned by an extremely generous and compassionate couple who are also brilliant surgeons. The employee benefits here are the best I've encountered in this century and the 200+ employees are some of the best I have worked with. This is a very professional company with knowledgeable leadership and much is improved from what it was just two short years ago when I joined them. The company is experiencing annual double digit growth and the campus facilities are top notch. Pay is at or above average throughout the company with two bonuses a year. Who does that these days.

Cons

We are located in a smaller market which can sometimes make it difficult to find the qualified people with special skill sets that we need to help us accomplish our potential.

Gaining experience in the medical field.

Cons

Training staff and management all lack experience and qualification for their job. Unprofessional, consistently make threats, severely mismanaged, lack of communication, misguided blame, lower than average pay for this field.
