Pros

Casual office attire, great benefits, & plenty of snacks to go around. While there are many pros to working at Landing, my favorite is the opportunity to work in an environment that challenges everyone to learn something new, every day. The Landing staff is full of incredibly talented people that constantly encourage career and skill development. Leadership is no exception- the CEO, COO, and VPs always aim to be transparent, honest, and uplifting. If you have the will and drive, the growth opportunity is immense.

Cons

Long days & a lack of set procedures/processes. Working for a rapidly growing start-up comes with it's own difficulties. However, all of the hard work is worth it at the end of the day. If you have the grind for start-up life, Landing is the place to work!

Pros

-good base pay (this is not the case for a lot of my previous coworkers) -unlimited pto -lots of delicious tasting kool aid -at one point, good snacks and catered lunch -> thing of the past now

Cons

-no transparency -constant lay offs and rehirings -deceitful leadership -ceo said in all hands meetings that he doesn't care about culture and makes no effort to create a positive environment -coo would call your boss and essentially snitch on you if you weren't seated at your desk all day -inexperienced and underqualified people cosntantly promoted which created terrible leadership in return and caused you to lose a lot of incredibly talented folks -just because bill smith struck gold once with shipt, does not mean that he can do it again. some would say he just had some dumb luck. -firing people on maternity leave, etc. -when I first started, there were 2 black people in the office and they both worked the night shift -useless leaders who spent way too much money on tradeshows, taking clients out to dinner, etc.

Pros

Opportunity for very young employees. Good Benefits.

Cons

What a culture of complete chaos!! This company is a great concept. But leadership fails to listen to its people. Read the customer reviews, you can see how much they DO NOT care about the members. Landing can not master the execution of ANY of its products or services. The founder has allowed Leadership to run his brilliant idea into the ground. Hundreds of layoffs right after, like days, touting its spotlight in Forbes Magazine (which was paid for, btw). A lot of brilliant minds are wasted, because of a COO that is only out for himself. Another company will come along and master flexible living, without having to try to own every bit of the process (building furniture, importing, warehousing, logistics, distribution, credit screening, criminal background checks, lease execution, utilities, access, cleaning, etc.). And on top of it all, they continue to allow shady characters into the communities, causing a PR nightmare. Landing is trying to do it all and has not mastered ONE thing. It is a shame, and I feel for the investors in this company. It will be a miracle if they make it.
