Pros

the team at the Ashburn VA location is like being on a little island of hope in the company drowning in plastic misery.

Cons

HR is a joke. cooperate will never do anything to help you if you require training, feel the work environment you're in is hostile or dangerous, and actually actively hides/rewards shady hostile and downright inappropriate behavior from higher ups. aggressive marketing strategy that is fear mongered over you for sales. sales pressure. I made my sales quotas and still feared for loss of my job! daily. they will make you feel bad for barely hitting their impossible goal when they require you to be a receptionist in a clinic by yourself because the turnover rate in the company is ridiculously high, the call out hotline asks you to go 45 minutes away to a clinic on a whim because of this and guilts you into doing it ( SAY NO ) and they favor the remote sales people who are saturated in the CRM platform they use.

Pros

Great introduction to aesthetics, injectables and lasers. GREAT co-workers. Good bosses. Pay is 45 an hour. 1$ a year annual raise. Get your one year of experience and go to a real med spa.

Cons

Extremely high volume clinic. Breaks are missed. Bullying at times. Sales front desk receptionists make significantly more than nurses. Nurses are not respected as medical professionals.

Pros

It's fun until it isn't... but literally nothing positive at this company

Cons

This company is literally the most awful company I have ever worked for. When I say that they do not care about their nurses AT ALL, I mean it. I had the pleasure of being with a clinic from opening day. The clinic was built so fast that there are building issues left and right. The clinic smells like sewage every day. The bathroom toilet breaks down every month. There are drain flies flying around and landing on patients during treatment, and dead bugs everywhere. Dirty and stained linen. You put in request after request to get these issues resolved and nothing ever happens. More of their emphasis is placed on the sales team than the clinicians (who are actually doing the treatments). The majority of the sales team do not care about their nurses either. They will lie to a patient and offer them services that sometimes they don't even need just to get a sale. (Half the time patient don't even get results from these treatments they are selling). There are no morals whatsoever, and I have seen patient after patient get taken advantage of. The sales girls will also double and triple book you and schedule patients on your schedule almost an hour after closing. They also will not help flip rooms and when the shift is over they will clock out as soon as the last patient leaves leaving you (the nurse) to clean all the rooms and set up for the next day by yourself. Halfway through my time here, my ability to see the schedule was taken away from me. (because so many nurses were complaining about being overbooked that they just took the ability to see our schedules away from us) So as a treating clinician, you actually have zero control of your schedule. Management will have zoom meetings every now and then (because there are no managers on site) and will say if you need anything please come to them. But when you do, you get "oh I'm sorry that's just company policy." Well if that is company policy then why are we not adhering to the company policies and guidelines about how to accurately schedule patients? They will gaslight you and make you feel crazy. Upper management works their nurses like pack mules meanwhile they're all sitting pretty in California making millions claiming they are "family owned" but treating their employees like dirt. The business model is absolutely bogus. They want patients waiting for at least 30 minutes or more. By the time the patients get back to the nurse they are extremely angry and you have to deal with angry patients all day because they were not booked correctly in the first place. This company is slimy and has zero morals whatsoever. I do not even recommend coming here to get industry experience it is that bad. You will have ZERO work life balance. You will work EVERY single weekend, which I was promised in my interview I wouldn't have to do. The turn over to the clinic is insane. By the time I left I was the LAST employee that was still there that was with the clinic when it originally opened. If that doesn't tell you about the state of this company then I don't know what does. RUN SO FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND DON'T LOOK BACK
