Pros

If you're looking for a flexible WFH position and do not need a reliable income, this position would be fine. There is definitely the potential to make great commission off of sales, but that is only if you are chosen to be on a good calendar (maybe top 10% of total Treatment Specialists).

Cons

I will preface this by saying that I came into this position with years of extremely successful sales management experience in a very similar industry. They talk up the position and assure you that as long as you put in the work, you will succeed. This position is a glorified cold-calling position. They say it is not cold-calling, but when half of the leads coming in are telling you they never actually submitted the inquiry, etc -- it is cold calling. Someone only needs to click on an email, ad etc and somehow their information is populated into our list of leads for you to call -- whether that person wanted to be contacted or not. The best calendars are given to the people who are friends with the manager -- not based on actual performance. If you are struggling with anything, do not bother asking for help. There is no advice to be given except to call more people. This company is so extremely unprofessional to both employees and clients. Schedule being changed day of or day before without notice. Communication between RM and Treatment Specialists is awful (at least with my RM). Being called pet names like "babe" or "hun" by managers. They will advertise huge discounts on treatments to get clients to inquire, only for you to be screamed at over and over when you have to tell the client that discount is not applicable to anything they wanted. This is after having to search high and low to find out what discounts are being advertised because it is not communicated properly with the employees. You are expected to call the same client 2-3x each day (calls are tracked in our system), but many employees use their personal cell phones to make calls to try to steal other employee's leads without being tracked, resulting in leads being called 8-10x per day in some instances. I've witnessed sales people using patient's insecurities to close a sale (ie alluding to a patient being fat in order to sell more CoolSculpting applicators). And because these people make so much in sales, they are not held accountable for these actions even after the customer complains. Now, if you are a client and you purchase a package here and are unhappy -- good luck getting in contact with the Treatment Specialist who sold it to you. They will ignore your calls and texts because a refund is commission being taken away from that sales person. Coming to this company has been one of the biggest mistakes of my life. If I knew what it would actually be like, I NEVER would have accepted this position. I have never had an issue at a job in my life, and have never even thought about writing a bad review of a company I have worked for until now, but wanted to try to save someone from making the same mistake that I made. It sounds like an amazing opportunity but do not fall for it. It has been admitted that they hire a ton of people at once just to see who "sticks." Save yourself and run away as fast as you can!

Pros

Free monthly treatments... if you can get an appointment... use it or lose it.

Cons

I seriously mean everything I'm saying and I know you all (except the same top 10 salespeople) agree with me... Unrealistic sales goals, ever-changing goals/expectations... no job security whatsoever. Absolutely 0 effort investing in their new employees (unless you are one of the same 10 top sales people). Revolving door of employees... the odds of you "making" it past 1- 3 months is RARE. Even if you do, you somehow are brainwashed into working like a dog for less than minimum wage. Very "cult-like" atmosphere... grossly fake, competitive, no company culture, very toxic unhealthy atmosphere (unless you are a top sales person). The SAME top 10 sales people are given exceptions to all rules (there are soooooo many rules), can do no wrong, break policies (call from personal cell phones, etc), able to speak down to other employees, and are given ALL the opportunities... NO KIDDING they will sell vs the person cold-calling people for the 28th time. LaserAway, have your top sales people have a day with no calendars, no overflow opportunities, and see how "well" they do.
