Pros

With LaserAway's limited treatments selection, even the free treatments are not that strong of a positive.

Cons

The fact that someone in the C-suite has left not one, but TWO reviews on Glassdoor is cringey, inappropriate, and incredibly biased. This person is an owner in the company. If you are considering a position at LaserAway, pay attention to the negative reviews. Notice the pattern of the handful of positive reviews that pop-up every once in a while, when "Talent Acquisition" or Management notices that their rating has gone down more yet again. "They reward hard work" is gaslighting and Stokholm syndrome. During my experience there, I was left but a shell of myself with no personal life (work/life balance is ZERO) and questioning my values and morals daily. The veil has been lifted now and I'm very glad. Watching this company the past 1-1.5 years is FRIGHTENING.

Pros

Laseraway is a great place to start your career in aesthetics. They hire RNs with zero experience and train them. You receive one free treatment a month although.

Cons

They train you at a training pay which is $20/hr. Even though you do get a free treatment a month the schedule is double/quadruple booked with patients that it is impossible to actually get those treatments. Laseraway is like the McDonalds of aesthetics, where they value quantity over quality. It is a very sales oriented business which is understandable but they do not respect nor treat their nurses appropriately. The schedule is triple booked at most times and nurses are pressured to stay OT to accommodate those nurse. Pay does not equate to the cost of living. The sales team treats the medical team with disrespect, especially those that work remote. Upper management views you as replaceable and your concerns are dismissed and in lieu you are reprimanded for things that are out of your control. The vibes are very mean girlish, a lot of gossiping, inappropriate conversations and comments. They expect you to work full weekends and do not care about nurses having a work life balance.
