Pros

Worked with some good people. Too bad they are no longer there.

Cons

Leadventure grows through buying companies and the companies that compete with them to do their best to buy their way to owning an industry. Unfortunately, once they buy a company, they have little clue what to do with it. Turnover is incredibly high. Direction is rarely known for a quarter in the current quarter. Planning is non-existent. Most of the managers I worked with... I couldn't tell you what they actually did, nor could they. I asked. All they could say were nice sounding vagaries completely void of any specifics.

Heavily outsourcing and underpaid.

Pros

Has great benefits and coworkers.

Cons

80% of the company is now in Mexico or Belize. They laid off a ton of U.S staff and only hire new people pretty much only in Belize or Mexico. Which if you are a U.S staff member will make it nearly impossible to move up because Belize and Mexico is filling on the spots. Also because of that you have to kind of be aware you could get let go any moment, more than a lot of jobs. Severely underpaid versus market average. It's actually somewhat jarring how outsourced this company is considering it only serves the U.S and Canada.

Pros

Work from home Unlimited PTO and it’s encouraged

Cons

No training and development structure, no investing in the employees, no growth opportunities, borderline criminally low wages (barely above minimum wage). No defined day to day support, no training, unprofessional sales team incapable of taking constructive criticism, unapproachable leadership. I asked for help and support several times and was provided none. I never had a conversation with my manager in 4 years of employment, even after I emailed her asking for assistance twice. She didn’t even reply. We were promised raises, and national wage surveys/evaluations and never received them, but we were told about all the record growth we experienced and how we have been just blowing all our sales goals out of the water. We were even shown a slide where we had double digit million dollar growth year over year, and I got a $1200 annual raise despite being given exceeds expectations on my evaluation. I had asked the sales team for some assistance with their appointments lacking detailed information. One of them told me “I’ve been doing this for 10 years, I am not changing.” Bold of you to admit you’ve sucked at your job for a decade, openly in front of your boss, and for there still to be no accountability for you. Imagine someone saying, “we are bad at this and should be better,” and then collectively the group just says, “you’re right, but no.” This company doesn’t foster a culture of belonging in any capacity, or unity among departments. Certain individuals are phenomenal, but overall it’s an absolute nightmare of an operation from day to day, and you’re guaranteed to find hostility within the company in your day to day interactions.
