The curriculum is outdated and boring. There is little direct instruction. Lots of paperwork and pressure to hit certain numbers. The administration is behind on properly staffing and preparing for growth. You are responsible for making sure your students are doing their work and attending, so lots of phone calls and tracking down students. There is little flexibility to teach content s you want. There is no salary schedule and no clear requirements to get bonuses and raises.

The day to day administration was some what disorganized. This lack of time management and order resulted in "man made emergencies" that required everyone drop what they were doing to put out the fire. This is understandable from time to time, but should not be the standard operating procedure. If your hair is always on fire, you should probably find out what (or who?) is feeding the flames. A lot of time/energy was wasted by the lack of process and organization... in turn creating unnecessary stress in the workplace.
